It's never too late for crisp! Hold strong men!

Today was a relatively quiet day at work.

Quiet days are happening more frequently. Summer is over. Kids are in school, and not in the store berating us.

Me and KC just sort of doing are jobs, sitting around, shooting the breeze.

The few people who DID come in however were pretty entertaining, so I have taken the liberty to draw some of them.

This guy was a hoot. He rushed right in. When someone rushes into the store, you know they are gonna cause trouble. Basically he had about 4 movies he had rented that were about 3 months past their due date. He refused to admit it and demanded a refund for the money the movies charged to his account. He didnt listen to me. So he called for the manager. KC basically parotted the policy I had just recited, the man gave up and left with his stack of old movies.

This girl had chubby cheeks and rosy blonde hair. She seemed to know the names of everyone in the store. So I can only assume she's a regular customer I haven't noticed before. Cute as a button. And with a big floppy hat covering half her head. And wearing a huge oversized coat. Like a little Caucasian eskimo.

This kid wandered around the store for an hour staring at everything with that blank stare. He didnt do anything. Just wandered. I started keeping tally on how many times he passed by the desk just to gawk at me or KC. The final count was about 20. Eventually an old woman (his grandma i assume) came in. She got some movies and some candy as he blankly stared at me. I think he was.....erm....mentally challenged.

This is a guy the whole store knows. His name's Jerry. He has one leg. Before he lost his leg, he was a rather annoying customer. He'd grab tons and tons of merchandise, bring it up to us, realized he doesnt want most of it, take one or two things, and then make his way out. Then he lost his leg. Nothing has changed except now it takes him about two hours to do that same process. He refuses to let us help him, and he always comes in about 2 minutes before we have to close and lock the doors. He's a nice guy, but has always hated everything and just ugh. Too much deal with.

Another day of work is tommorow.

WILL NATHAN DRAW MORE? WILL THE WAR IN IRAQ END? IS PAVAROTTI REALLY DEAD? STAY TUNED TO FIND OUT! ALL THESE QUESTIONS AND MORE WILL BE ANSWERED IN THE NEXT EXCITING BLOG POST: "POST OF THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUTUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRE"
