Its obviously some sort of mantid. Seeing as all the mantis bugs around here are of the bright-ass green variety, I am going to assume this one is of the "walking stick" variety. Also it doesnt walk like a mantis does which also leads me to believe it to be a walking stick.
I assume its eating all the various moths and spiders that creep around the lamp.
