About a month and a half ago I decided to order a book version of a webcomic I enjoyed very much.
It finally arrived today. I must admit I was worried it got lost in the mail.

Riceboy! A wonderfully inspiring and beautiful bit of fantasy. If you have not read it yet, you should! You should also read all the comic stories on the site as they all tie together in different ways with various recurring characters.



Mr.Dahm even drew a cute drawing of Riceboy and his vengeful but hungry companion Gerund on the first page with a felt tip marker. :)



Speakin of webcomic books.
My friend Ukinojo's sister Meredith Gran got her webcomic Octopus Pie published.
That's also a webcomic you should read. It's quite dramatic, but not in a boring way like so many webcomics fall victim to. The book can be found here.

As I may have mentioned last post, Valve have been a very busy company. New campaign for Left4Dead, which while short, is very well designed. Huge massive update for Team Fortress 2, which isn't over yet. It seems like every day since the update they've added new stuff. Like this horror. Not sure what it does but it looks like a fiendish dental instrument.
Regardless, the crafting system, while useful, has some very bizarre recipes when it comes to making things.
So I made a comic.
Sadly I cannot post it here properly because google and blogger now re-size images automatically. Effectively killing a good 60% of their usefulness. Good job, idiots.

Paranormal Activity 2, the new high-budget sequel with a fancy new director, of the low-budget independent horror flick that caused waves of interest last Halloween, is upon us. The trailers for the sequel are already getting play on Comedy Central and Adult Swim.
So, as I promised myself and others, when this happened, I would finally put Paranormal Passivity (the oscar winning parody) onto youtube.

Luckily Youtube recently increased the time limit on videos.
Chances are if you visit this blog even mildly often you've seen this entire movie before.
HOWEVER, due to the fact I was able to split the video in half for youtube purposes, I was able to add an amusing new intro to part 2. So you should at least watch that.

In job-related sort of news-stuff, I actually got TWO job offers recently. Yeah as in, people came to ME asking ME for things. Not me going to a studio and begging like a sad puppy for work.

Holy shit. That mascara-wearing magician who tries ever so hard to be deep and spooky by the name of Chris Angel is now marketing his gimmicky old schlock magic on TV. Seriously now. Why? Every other magician who had a stage show has done everything this guy has done. Oooh he wears makeup and glitter when he does it!

And he's selling a DVD called "HOW TO LEVITATE"
That's right folks. Two hours of him explaining how to stand on polished glass in a dimly lit room. 4 Oscars and 3 Golden fuckin Globes.

I got into the beta for World of Tanks.
What is World of Tanks?

An MMO/shooter....kinda.
Imagine an arcade-style tank game. Except there's like 50-60 tanks. Each with different stats and strengths and weaknesses. All customizable with interchangeable parts, ammo, toolkits, armors and whole tech trees of uprades.
